At Mercy Drive Regional Corp. it is our goal to provide supports and services to Individuals that will lead him/her to live a meaning life.

Through Community Based Supports, an Individual can receive direct support and assistance from Direct Support Professionals in or out of their home, with or without their caregiver present, to achieve and maintain the outcomes of increased independence, productivity, enhanced family functioning, and inclusion in the community.

Community Based Supports are delivered one-on-one with the Individual by trained Direct Support Professionals and may include the following.

• Assistance with community-based activities, supports to enable individual to attend events, take a class, navigate their community safely, travel training, Money Management etc.
• Training and supervision of individuals as they learn and perform various tasks, including basic self-care, social skills and activities of daily living, ordering off a menu, purchasing items, learning basic cooking, laundry skills.
• Supporting Individual to learn etiquette.
• One to one tutoring.
• Supporting Individual at a job site.
